  13. CERT-NL's main tasks with regards to its constituency:
  14. 1. spreading information about vulnerabilities and patches;
  15. 2. security incident handling coordination.
  16. For the latter purpose CERT-NL is reachable by telephone at all times.
  17.  
  18. CERT-NL fully endorses the FIRST idea and interoperates frequently
  19. with fellow members. As a matter of principle CERT-NL prefers to deal
  20. with fellow CERT's or -when lacking- with service providers rather than
  21. with individual organisations or systemmanagers.

  23. The CERT-NL work is currently handled on a sparsetime basis by a group of
  24. 7 network, computer and/or security experts from the SURFnet constituency.
