Using the Video Capture Function in the WIN-OS/2 Session
(For 755CD only)
You can use the Digital Video Producer to capture video in the
WIN-OS/2 full-screen session, but not in the WIN-OS/2 window
session.
To use the Digital Video Producer, set the following parameters for:
o Settings for the WIN-OS/2 Session:
[HW_TIMER] ON
[IDLE_SENSITIVITY] 75
[INT during IO] ON
[SESSION_Priority] 32
o For the TIMER.DRV section in the Windows SYSTEM.INI file:
TIMERMax386Res = 8
TIMERMax286Res = 8
You might see a degradation of capture performance (frames
per second). To recover it:
- Use the Digital Video Producer in the Windows
environment. You can use the Windows environment by
double-clicking on the [Dual boot] icon in the [Command prompt]
folder of OS/2.
Or:
- Use the Video In application in the OS/2 environment.
