  4. EUDORA FOR MACINTOSH VERSION 2.1.3 MAINTENANCE RELEASE
  5.  
  6. This maintenance release fixes a bug in Eudora that caused "Unimplemented
  7. Trap" crashes when running previous versions of Eudora on PowerMac 9500s.
  8. It also changes the splash screen to reflect the new Eudora product name --
  9. Eudora Pro. Updating to version 2.1.3 gives current Eudora licensees the same 
  10. version of Eudora included in the Eudora Pro package. MacTCP, the TCP/IP 
  11. connection software, and the Internet service provider offer included in the 
  12. off-the-shelf Eudora Pro package are not provided as part of this updater.  
  13. An upgrade package that includes these items could be made available in the 
  14. future based on customer demand.

  16. INSTALLING THE 2.1.3 MAINTENANCE RELEASE
  17.  
  18. To update your Eudora software, double-click the Eudora 2.1.3 updater file
  19. once you have downloaded it.
  20.  
  21. The updater program will prompt you through the update process. Please be
  22. aware that the updater program will only work on unmodified copies of Eudora
  23. 2.1.2. If you have changed the program with a resource editor (i.e.,
  24. Resedit), the update will not work. You must re-install the original version
  25. of Eudora 2.1.2 prior to running the updater.

  27. NOTE: If you are running a version of Eudora by QUALCOMM prior to 2.1.2,
  28. you must update to 2.1.2 prior to updating to 2.1.3.
