  1. Instructions for creating Windows Resource Kit:

  3. 1.  Download the files:
  4.     
  5.       WRK_DOC.EXE
  6.       DISKROOT.EXE
  7.       DISK_WRK.EXE
  8.       DISK_IPX.EXE
  9.       DISK_DRV.EXE
  10.  
  11.  
  12. 2.  Expand the files by running them.  WRK_DOC.EXE contains the Microsoft 
  13.     Word for Windows version 2.0 documentation files.  The other .EXEs 
  14.     contain the software.  In order to create the disk, you need to create 
  15.     a disk with the following structure:

  17.       \
  18.       \WRK
  19.       \IPX
  20.       \DRIVERS
  21.  
  22.  
  23. 3.  Copy the expanded files from DISK*.EXE to the appropriate directory 
  24.     on the disk as shown below:

  27.       DISKROOT.ZIP => \
  28.       DISK_WRK.ZIP => \WRK
  29.       DISK_IPX.ZIP => \IPX
  30.       DISK_DRV.ZIP => \DRIVERS

  33. 4.      Now, run SETUP.EXE from the root directory.
