  6. All file transfers on this FTP server are logged.  This includes
  7. uploads.  File uploads via anonymous FTP are only permitted in
  8. the /incoming directory.

  10. If you put a file or files in this directory, you MUST notify
  11. not only the intended recipient, but also <ftp@cs.umanitoba.ca>.
  12. Your message should indicate the file's name, its contents, and
  13. its intended recipient(s).

  15. The administrators of this server reserve the right to delete ANY
  16. anonymously uploaded files, and will delete any uploaded files
  17. for which they have not been appropriately notified.

  19. Also, please note that due to space constraints, we cannot become
  20. a public-domain/shareware software archive for the general public.
  21. If your upload is not intended for someone in our department, please
  22. consider using one of the more well-known FTP archive sites instead.

  24. Finally, any illegal material, such as pirated software or "make money
  25. fast" files, will be deleted, and the administrators at your site or
  26. Internet service provider will be notified.
