  1. The read command is followed by a message number and will print out 
  2. the specified message.  This assumes that you have found out the 
  3. correct message number with the List command.  For example:

  5.          R 23 
  6.  
  7. will read message number 23.  If you wish to read all of the messages 
  8. sent to you, use the command: 
  9.  
  10.          RM 
  11.  
  12. Note that all of your messages will be read, not just the new ones. 
  13. Private messages (type P) can only be read by the sender or the 
  14. addressee.
