Welcome to DBN,
We reccomend you use a mouse and system that can display 256 colors.
Niether is required but will make the viewing much easier.
If you only have 16 color support the graphics will look very poor and
have a heavy purple shading. If you do not have a mouse you may use the
tab key to highlight your desired selection. When using a mouse just
press the desired selection just like a Web page. Certain selections can
be made by hot keys, hot keys are presented in parenthisis.
You may run DBN from Dos or Windows, Dos is the prefered method for speed
and trouble free use.
Rather than printing a article, you can save it to a text file on your
hard drive by selecting save to a file rather than a print device.
Some of the text contained will auto zoom when you select the article,
Other articles you must choose the zoom feature for that article from
the option menu.
when zooming the text you can size, move, or close the
text window by taping on the text box upper right corner. Articles that
are visible directly from the page are not auto zoom.
You may search any Word, Words, Part of a word, or number(s) through the
entire e-zine or individual pages. The search functions can be located
in the options menu on each page. When searching the e-zine will stop
at the first search criteria you have entered, to continue searching
for the next example, go to options again and seklect "find next", You
may continue to do this until there are no more available search patterns
for your criteria. While searching you may move or resize the zoom text
window to a more convienant location or size.
