  5.    WinBatch is the Windows Batch Language that you can use to write
  6.    real honest-to-goodness Windows batch files to control every
  7.    aspect of your machine's operation.  There are more than 350 
  8.    different functions that allow you to do *anything* with WinBatch!

  10.    This package contains all the pieces you need to create batch files
  11.    for Windows NT on the DEC ALPHA platform

  24.    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  26.    WinBatch for Windows NT on a DEC ALPHA requires a DEC ALPHA PC
  27.    with a minimum of 32 megabytes of RAM, running Windows NT.

  32.    The file FIXES.TXT details the many bug fixes and enhancements that
  33.    have been made to the program since the initial 5.0 release.

  39.    About the WinBatch Compiler

  41.    Also available is our "WinBatch Compiler".  With the WinBatch
  42.    compiler, you can turn your WBT files into standalone EXE files
  43.    that you can distribute on a royalty-free basis.

  45.    Have a BIG network?  Want all your users to run your WBT files?
  46.    Compile the WBT files with the WinBatch Compiler and put the
  47.    EXE's up on the server.

  49.    Making specialized WinBatch files for clients?  Don't want them
  50.    modifying your files?  Just compile the WBT files, and give the
  51.    EXE's to your client.

  67.    HOW TO INSTALL WINBATCH

  70.    Use our SETUP.EXE program, which will copy the files for you
  71.    and install a WINBATCH Start menu or Program Manager group .

  73.    To use our SETUP.EXE program...

  76.      1) Close down all extraneous Windows applications.

  78.      2) Double-Click on the SETUP.EXE program
  79.  
  80.      3) When the setup program asks for a directory, specify initial
  81.         directory, or accept the given default.

  84.    NOTE:  If you are updating from a previous version, and made any of the
  85.           WinBatch files READ-ONLY, remove the read-only attribute from
  86.           the files before running setup.
  87.           (Or else the setup process will hang)

  91.    WinBatch can run in English, French, German, and "Val Speak".
  92.    The strings are controlled by the WWWDLANG.* files.  Run the
  93.    WILLANG.WBT file to change languages.
