"The T-72 is the most widely used tank in the world with many countries re-fitting the rugged and dependable original Russian design. Kazakhstan has used this updated version as their aging, but stable main battle tank. It has been upgraded with heavy Kontakt 5 explosive reactive armor (ERA) that has made them immune to many munitions of the most formidable current tank gun projectiles. The T-72 adds great firepower with its 125 mm cannon but its auto-loader is a poor match against the improving technology and rapid firepower of the West."
