  1. HELP ASSISTANT 3.0

  3. Welcome to Help Assistant 3.0,
  4.  
  5. This Word for Windows 6.0 Macro utility should greatly facilitate the
  6. process of building a Help file.  To install Help Assistant, UNZIP
  7. the distribution file to a temporary directory, and from the DOS 
  8. prompt go to this directory and type:
  9.  
  10.     INSTALL. <your-WinWord-directory>
  11.  
  12.     (e.g.   install c:\winword)
  13.  
  14. Do not include the "<" and ">" characters.
  15.  
  16. You can also copy manually HELPASS.DOT, and  HELPASS.HLP to 
  17. your WinWord directory, and copy HELPASS.DLL, HELPASS.INI and HCP.PIF
  18. to the WINDOWS directory.
  19.  
  20. To use Help Assistant, open a new WinWord document and select
  21.  the HELPASS template.

  27.     HELP ASSISTANT REQUIRES HCP.EXE or HC31.EXE TO
  28.     BE ABLE TO COMPILE YOUR HELP FILES.  THIS UTILITY
  29.     IS A MICROSOFT LICENCED PRODUCT AND CANNOT BE 
  30.     PROVIDED WITH HELP ASSISTANT.  NEVERTHELESS, HCP.EXE
  31.     SHOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON COMPUSERVE FROM THE
  32.     MICROSOFT SDK FORUM
  33.  
  34.     IT MAY BE REQUIRED THAT YOU EDIT THE HCP.PIF FILE TO 
  35.     REFLECT THE DIRECTORY WHERE THE HELP COMPILER RESIDES.
