HELP ASSISTANT 3.0
Welcome to Help Assistant 3.0,
This Word for Windows 6.0 Macro utility should greatly facilitate the
process of building a Help file. To install Help Assistant, UNZIP
the distribution file to a temporary directory, and from the DOS
prompt go to this directory and type:
INSTALL. <your-WinWord-directory>
(e.g. install c:\winword)
Do not include the "<" and ">" characters.
You can also copy manually HELPASS.DOT, and HELPASS.HLP to
your WinWord directory, and copy HELPASS.DLL, HELPASS.INI and HCP.PIF
to the WINDOWS directory.
To use Help Assistant, open a new WinWord document and select
the HELPASS template.

HELP ASSISTANT REQUIRES HCP.EXE or HC31.EXE TO
BE ABLE TO COMPILE YOUR HELP FILES. THIS UTILITY
IS A MICROSOFT LICENCED PRODUCT AND CANNOT BE
PROVIDED WITH HELP ASSISTANT. NEVERTHELESS, HCP.EXE
SHOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON COMPUSERVE FROM THE
MICROSOFT SDK FORUM
IT MAY BE REQUIRED THAT YOU EDIT THE HCP.PIF FILE TO
REFLECT THE DIRECTORY WHERE THE HELP COMPILER RESIDES.
