THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THIS PROGRAM IS

■ TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Should you have any questions or suggestions with this or any of
our software products, you can contact me by one of the following
methods. Many of the ideas incorporated into our programs are the
result of feedback by callers.
THE CORAL REEF - Personal Support BBS
Node 1 (517) 894-0729 (300-14,400)
Node 2 (517) 894-5052 (300-14,400)
Node 3 (517) 894-0413 (300-14,400)
Normally, I answer my mail daily so you get a fast reply.
* Note - Calling Node 1 will automatically "trunk hunt" over to
the other nodes if it is busy so there is no need to try
each number. They are listed only for reference.
MUSTANG SOFTWARE SUPPORT BBS
You can also reach me on the Mustang Software Support BBS.
I frequent their system a few times a week so you will get
a reply but not as fast as if you call my system.
INTERNET MAILING
My internet address is "BRADBURY@CRIS.COM" and use this
service a few times a week also.
MAILING ADDRESS
Last but not least, you can reach me via the postal system.

You can also leave messages for me on this system as I call it
regularly throughout the week.
■ INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION
Follow these steps and you will be up and running in a matter of
minutes!
1. Make a directory called AUCTION. It must reside on drive C and
you must keep this directory name.
C:
CD\
MD AUCTION
2. Copy all the files into this directory.
3. Edit the AUCTION.CFG file. Setup is as follows:
0000 'Registration Code
3 'Number of days to leave posted bid
S 'S = Subscription Bal. or N = Netmail Bal.
Case of Pepsi 'Item to be auctioned.
Your Name 'Name of High Bidder.
07/05/95 'Date of when last bid was posted.
1000 'Amount of bid.
Test 'Message from last bidder
4. Run MakeMenu and add the AUCTION.WCX program to one of your
menus. Or you can rename the file as LOGON1.WCX or LOGON2.WCX
so that all callers will see it when they sign on to your BBS.
If you choose to use the LOGONx.WCX file you will have to copy
it to your C:\WILDCAT directory and rename it accordingly.
All other files must be located in C:\AUCTION.
That's it! Just make sure you monitor the screen to see when the bid
has been sitting for a period of time as you define. Then it's time
to declare the winner.
■ NOTES
The program will keep a file called AUCTION.LOG that records the
name of all callers that post a bid. This allows you to see who is
posting regularly. Delete the file when it's too big or you no
longer want it.
You can edit the INFOx.HLP files. The first one is to give more
information about the item up for bid. The second is for generic
help on using this program.
The program will create a file named WINNER.TXT that you can use
other third-party software to have incorporated into your Wildcat!
message base.
