  26. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Configuration Dialog ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  28. This dialog is used to set the options used fo installation of the TrueSpectra 
  29. application.  Choose the appropriate settings and then select either Install or Uninstall.
  30.  
  31. The dialog is divided into several areas.  These are 
  32.

  34. Drive and Path 
  35.  
  36. Drive      A quick way to select the install path.  See also the available space.
  37.  
  38. Path       The final install path for the program.  If the directory needs to 
  39.            be created, then the install program will create it automatically.
  40.  
  41. Options 
  42.  
  43. These are the installation options.  Select what components of TrueSpectra you 
  44. wish to install.
  45.  
  46. Program    This is the required portion of the program.  It includes the 
  47.            install utility, README, documentation and support files.
  48.  
  49. Examples   A variety of examples including *.GDO, *.JPG, *.BMP and *.ORC files. 
  50.            These demonstrate some applications of TrueSpectra.
  51.  
  52. Desktop IconsThere are icons for the application, README, LICENCE and online 
  53.            documentation, as well as the install program.
  54.  
  55. Update CONFIG.SYSThis version of TrueSpectra does not need to modify the 
  56.            CONFIG.SYS, so this option is always off.
  57.  
  58. Information 
  59.  
  60. This area gives information about the installation path.
  61.  
  62. Required SpaceThis gives the approximate size of the total installation 
  63.            requirements for the selected options.
  64.  
  65. Available SpaceThis displays the amount of free space on the drive selected 
  66.            with the entered path.  If this number is less than the above 
  67.            number, then the install might fail.

  69. Actions

  71. When all of the options have been set properly, then selection one of these 
  72. pushbuttons to install:
  73.  
  74. Install    Transfers the selected file to the install directory.  Also, if 
  75.            selected creates the appropriate WorkPlace Shell objects (folder, 
  76.            and desktop icons).

  78. Uninstall  Removes all of the files selected.  Also, if selected, the 
  79.            TrueSpectra Light Folder will be destroyed along with all of it's contents.

  81. Cancel     Abort installation and exit.

  88. Choose the appropriate hard disk partition.  Shown are all hard disks, and 
  89. other logical partitions.  Look in the Information area for free space.

  96. Type in the destination path where you want to keep the executable.  Normally 
  97. the program is installed in the root directory, but it could be installed 
  98. anywhere.  To replace an old version, normally you should install the new 
  99. version over an old version.  If you recieved this file over the Internet, you 
  100. could install to the same directory where it came from.

  107. Select all of the appropriate option to install.  See the Configuration Dialog 
  108. for a brief description of each of their meanings.

  113. The first time you install, you should check this option.  Also when upgrading 
  114. to a new version you must check this box.

  123. They show off many of the features of the application, and give some photographs.

  130. If your desktop icons disappear, select only this option to reinstall your 
  131. desktop icons.  They will faithfully reappear.

  138. This action installs all of the selected options.

  145. Use this option to remove the program after the evaluation date is up.  It will 
  146. be removed cleanly.  Note th Uninstall will still delete them, unless they are 
  147. saved under a different name.  Also any icons in the folder are erased, if that 
  148. option is selected.

  155. When you abort the install or uninstall program, the current file is finished 
  156. with, and then the partly installed or uninstalled project is left in the 
  157. install directory as
