  15. Tra Vigne up in Napa Valley is a delight. Be sure to sit outside in the 
  16. garden. The food is very good, the wine excellent, and the atmosphere 
  17. wonderful.

  19. In Carmel, Clint Eastwood's place--unappealingly called the Hog's 
  20. Breath--is pleasant for drinks. They serve great h'ors d'oeuvres; if 
  21. you're not careful, you can fill up on them and spoil your dinner. The 
  22. dinners there are no big deal, steaks and burgers, but a drink on the back 
  23. patio is worth it just for the atmosphere. It's quite lovely, with a 
  24. fireplace and heaters to stave off the often foggy and chilly Carmel air.

  26. Il Palio in SF is a good Italian restaurant.
