Documentation for PCCLICK.COM by Hal Maney
PCCLICK provides a user-selectable click sound for those who use quiet
keyboards. The program attaches itself to DOS, using only a few hundred
bytes of memory, and generates a click whenever a key is pressed. Key
features are as follows:
1. Click sound can be changed by pressing shift/alt/+ or shift/alt/-
and holding. The click sound will gradually get louder and lower in
pitch until the keys are released. An "S" saves the selected click
sound to disk.
2. When it is loaded the program checks to see if it is already
resident, and, if so, tells you and exits.
3. PCCLICK is designed to work with MS/PC-DOS 2.X and above, and
is designed to not interfere with other resident programs such as
SIDEKICK. However, this cannot be guaranteed because it is not
possible to anticipate all the "tricks" programmers may use to get
around DOS.
PCCLICK is provided free for non-commercial distribution and use.
