- New in Flows V2.02:
- ===================
- - In outline FEs is enabled, the gray values used to fill the FEs are
- lighter than without outline.
- - Up to 32 FEs may be specified, including "(blank)" FEs.
- - The distance between adjacent levels of FEs may be varied to optimize
- page usage. Use the [Settings] option:
- LevelDistance=<nn> ; 12.0 ... 30.0 (mm) (default=20mm)
- - In the [Document] item in .FLW files, the next new options are added:
- Levels=<nn> ; 1 ... 4 (default=2)
- Version=<nn> ; 1.0 ... 99.99 (default=CurrVer)
- Including these two options in every .FLW file will guarantee a
- correct interpretation of the file by future versions of Flows.
- - In stead of referring to a FE by a number or by its real name, a
- nickname may be used. This is much easier if you want to copy&paste
- .FLW files into other .FLW files.
- The nickname can be defined in the [Entities] item:
- #instances ~ name ~ level ~ <nickname>
- The nickname may be used and defined by putting the nickname between
- guillemots ("<",">"). The nickname is case-sensitive.
- In the definition, as seen above, the guillemots may be left out.
- Example:
- [Entities]
- 1~OCCA ~2 ~<CClft>
- 1~OBCA ~1 ~<BClft>
- 1~IOBC ~1 ~<BCrgt>
- 1~IOCC ~1 ~CCrgt
- [Flows]
- L <CClft> ~ ~SETUP~req.~
- <CClft>a <CCrgt>a ~ ~SETUP~req. ind.~ID10
- <CCrgt>a R ~ ~SETUP~req. ind.~
- - The number of forms has been extended. Use FormSize=<type> in the
- [Settings] item.
- A4 210mm x 297mm
- A3 297mm x 420mm
- B5 176mm x 250mm
- Legal 8.5" x 14"
- Letter 8.5" x 11"
- USGovernment ) 8" x 11"
- Govern )
- Executive 7.5" x 10.5"
- All form may be used both in portrait and landscape orientations.
-
- New in Flows V2.01:
- ===================
- - If a version number is entered for emulation in the
- [Settings] item that is higher than the current version, the
- current version will be emulated. This status will now be displayed
- on the screen.
- - Now the /D=[dest_path] can be used to specify a destination
- directory as well as a destination name. Any specified extension of the
- destination file names will be ignored. If multiple output switch (/M)
- is present, the file name will end with a three digit page number. Any
- extra characters in the file name will be ignored.
- - The default screen size is 80x25 for all screen types (In V2.0 the
- default screen size for EGA and VGA was 80x43 and 80x50). To use
- the maximum number of lines possible for your video hardware, the new
- /H ("High") option has been added.
- - Command line help information can now be displayed by using /? only.
- - If the figure title consists of only one or two lines (or three for
- A4 portrait) the title will be shifted down a little to reduce the
- white space between the title and the rest of the figure.
- - If the figure title consists of four or more lines (five or more for
- A4 portrait) the title line distance will be reduced to precause
- overlapping with the figure. If overlapping occurs, the title will be
- type in front and with a thin white outline.
