A Resource About Caffeine
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the subjects that is a constant source of interest is "caffeine".
Questions come from all sources, young mothers concerned about drinking
beverages containing this natural occurring substance during pregnancy, older
folks with heart disease worried about its effect on their problem, others
with sleep problems. All request specific answers to their personal problem,
yet the answers to these questions are of interest to all. I have finally
found an excellent brochure that provides all these answers, and many others
as well, that is available to all. You may well find your own questions about
caffeine contained in this excellent publication. The brochure is based upon
a scientific review of health and safety issues that concern caffeine, and it
is provided by the International Food Information Council (IFIC). Its content
was favorably reviewed by the American Academy of Family Physicians
Foundation. In addition to providing a great deal of information in Question
and Answer format, it also includes a chart that shows the amount of caffeine
contained in a wide variety of beverages and chocolate. You may obtain your
free copy by sending your request along with a stamped self addressed business
size envelope to: CAFFEINE, P.O. Box 1144, Rockville, MD 20850.
