- REAL BEERLOVERS BREW THEIR OWN BEER!!!!
-
- Imagine lying on the beach an hot
- summerday, you feel an enormous thirst.
- Then you pick up another beer from the
- coldbag, and after you have opened it
- can the cold and delicious liquid pour
- down in your throath... But, wait a
- minute, how much have you spend on beers
- One beer is cheap, but when it comes to
- be a lot it can be a rather big amount.
- So The Techocratic Times will now show
- you how to brew your own beer. It is
- rather simple because of the beer-
- brewingkits that are available nowadays
- In the last year did a new kind of
- beerkits come up that is both tastier
- and easier to brew.Personal do I prefer
- "Coopers Lager". The beerbrewkits could
- be found in manydir Mailorder companies
- assortment and in Chemistry shops and
- in some towns can you find specialshops
- for beer and winemaking. For those of
- you that lives near Gothenburg (Sweden)
- can I recommend "Party Land". If you
- are going to brew beer do you need
- these things. A brewingkit (contains:
- A can of beerconcentrate, yeast and in
- some cases disinfectant (to clean the
- yeast can with)). You will also need
- something to brew your beer in, a
-
-
- plasticcan that contains 25 litres,
- because you will get nearly 22litres of
- beer on each brewingkit (that means you
- will get at least 65 bottles (33 cl) of
- beer!), you will need bottles for the
- beer, some causticsoda to clean the
- bottles with, bottlecaps and a tool to
- put them on the bottles (there are two
- kinds of these tools, first the one that
- is cheap, which you put your cap in and
- punch it on with a hammer, second there
- is one that is a tool that you pressure
- the cap on with some tonglike tool,
- which really is the most comfortable
- way). You will also need some sugar and
- since the yeastspeed is proportinal
- with the temperature would it also be
- great with a thermostat controlled
- heater of the kind you use for
- aquariums (your fishes will freeze in
- the future...), but if you use a heater
- make sure that the temperature is below
- 35 celsius degrees or you yeast will
- die and your beer will be useless. If
- you have got the things above are you
- ready to start brewing. First you have
- to make sure that all things that will
- be in contact with the beer is real
- clean, either can the beer get infected
-
