He was born crown prince of Macedonia, a small mountainous Kingdom on the
northern edge of the Greek-world, in 356 BC, Alexander was to earn the
appellation ΓÇ£the GreatΓÇÖ in the course of a short, meteoric and splendid
career.
Strategy gamers can now can relive his most glorious campaigns.
Interactive Magic, experts in developing strategy software are about to
unleash onto the PC ΓÇÿThe Great Battles of AlexanderΓÇÖ. Players will be able
to follow in his footsteps across the Dardanelles into Asia as he conquered
the then known world.
The game allows one to twelve players to control the armies of both
Alexander the Great and his enemies, they will be able to play AlexanderΓÇÖs
entire campaign of ten historic battles, or play each of them individually.
In addition to single play mode, players may opt to challenge one or more
human opponents via direct modem connection or over the Internet. For more
depth of play, a random battle feature has been included which offers the
realism of the unexpected military engagement.
Take control of a general and fight a section of the battle, or assume the
mantle of Alexander and pit your wits against some of the best tactical
minds in history.
The Great Battles of Alexander will present strategy gamers with the most
challenging battle field simulation yet produced for the PC.
