In addition to single play mode, players may opt to challenge one or more human opponents via direct modem connection or over the Internet. For more depth of play, a random battle feature has been included which offers the realism of the unexpected military engagement. Take control of a general and fight a section of the battle, or assume the mantle of Alexander and pit your wits against some of the best tactical minds in history.
