Graphics Server Milestones

1990

  • Graphics Server version 1.0 is released, marking the first DLL graphing toolkit for Microsoft Windows.

1991

  • Graphics Server's Graph VBX is released. It is the first custom graphing control for Microsoft Visual Basic.

1993

  • Graphics Server's Graph OLE server is released, with OLE automation.
  • Graphics Server's Cgraph C++ graph class is introduced.
  • Graphics Server's Microsoft FoxPro FLL is released.

1994

  • February - Full graphing support for Windows NT is implemented.
  • May - First public demonstration of Graphics Server's Graph OCX.

1995

  • March - Graphics Server's Graph OCX is released -- the first OLE custom control.
  • September - Graphics Server's VBX becomes data-bound.
  • October - Graphics Server's Delphi VCL released.
  • November - Graphics Server's localized Japanese version released.

1996

  • May - Graphics Server's OCX becomes data-bound.
  • June - Version for WindowsNT running on a PowerPC.
  • August - Version for Windows NT running on a DEC Alpha.
  • November - ActiveX version shipped

1997

  • March - Awarded VBPJ Readers Choice Award - 6th straight time for Graphics Server technology
  • May - 5.0 released with server-side web capabilities
