This 2-day instructor led course teaches animators, modelers and effects artists how to plan and carry out cloth simulations at an intermediate level within the Maya environment.
With a focus on establishing sound workflow practices, students will work on a variety of effects to explore the relevant tools and their application.
After completing the Maya Cloth course, the student will be able to:
- Create various garments
- Tailor garments
- Create other cloth objects like curtains
- Run clothing simulations
- Use constraints to adjust the behavior of clothing
- Transfer garments to different scenes
- Make reusable clothes cache files
