Click the Fill pull-down menu to choose how the shape should be filled. You can fill a shape with a solid color, a gradient, or a file or pattern. See the Gradients and Fill with File or Pattern topics for more information about these options.

To turn the stroke on or off, click the Stroke check box.

To change the color of the stroke, click the Color box. Choose a color from the palette, or click a color and drag over the canvas to select a color from the drawing. You may also double-click the color box to see a color dialog.

To change the width of the stroke, use the Width slider. Move the slider to the right to make the stroke thicker; move it to the left to make the stroke thinner.

See the Stroke topic for more information about editing the stroke.

Click the Shadow button to apply a shadow to the shape. Click the Edit button to see more shadow options.

Use the Opacity slider to change the opacity of the shape. Move the slider to the right to make the object more opaque; move the slider to the left to make the object more transparent.
