You can create new shapes using the Pen tool and the Pencil tool. Twist also includes a number of predefined shapes you can add to a drawing. These shapes are shown on the Tool Palette.
The Line tool allows you to add a line to the current drawing. Click the tool, then click and drag on the canvas to create a line.

The Rectangle, Oval, and Triangle tools allow you to add rectangles, ovals, and triangles to the current drawing. Click one of these tools, then click and drag on the canvas to create a new shape.
You can also click one of these tools and then click a location on the canvas to create a new shape centered on the point you click.
Hold down the Shift key as you drag to create squares, circles, and equilateral triangles. | |

Click the Cool Shapes menu and select a cool shape. Then click and drag on the canvas to create a new shape.
You can also select a Cool Shape and then click a location on the canvas to create a new shape centered on the point you clicked.
Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard as you draw to maintain the proportions of the Cool Shape.
