If you've tried lots of file and program management utilities and still aren't satisfied, check out the new version of Drag and File Gold. It combines a mass of desktop help in one fast program. It's as sophisticated as you want it to be: you can use the most powerful features, or you can use it at its most basic level. Drag and File Gold includes the original Drag and File Desktop, plus file archiving utilities.

Drag and File Gold is the 'must-have' complete desktop file and program management solution.
Basically the program consists of the Drag and File file manager, as well as two additional launch bars. You get all the usual file management features and much more, including tree and branch batch operations on all files; single click execution of most tasks from a toolbar; separate windows for each drive; full configureable hot key controls; filters; and directory synchronisation.

Perfect Keyboard lets you set up fast keys for text and keyboard combinations.

Perfect Keyboard lets you set up fast keys for: often-used text, file paths, Windows shortcuts, forms (if you continually fill in the same forms, Perfect Keyboard will fill in some of the entries), programming constructions, e-mail addresses and URLs. There are two basic kinds of shortcut -- text shortcuts and key shortcuts. When the text shortcut is typed, it expands to longer text or to keystrokes. The key shortcuts work in a similar way, but this time you type a combination of keys to achieve the expanded text or whatever.

The program has a clever interface, which keeps all your various shortcuts sorted for you, so that you can add new ones quickly, plus refresh your memory if you've forgotten any. This program is fast and cuts down on the boring stuff you have to do everyday.

  Office 97 Upgrade Wizard

URL: http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/default.htm

If you install Office 97 over a previous version of Office, you may end up with old files and registry entries on your hard disk that can be removed. Microsoft has provided a free Office Upgrade Wizard that removes these files and frees space on your hard disk.

You can run the utility in one of several modes to remove files that are not needed, remove all the files installed by previous versions of Office, or remove only those files that you specify. The wizard searches only for files that originated from a previous version of Office or an Office application, and removes them only if you indicate that these applications are no longer used on your computer. The files can be removed either through a wizard interface that the end user runs or as an automatic batch process that is fully customisable by the system administrator. You can customise the Upgrade Wizard to remove files and registration entries at your discretion. For more information about the Upgrade Wizard, see the Office 97 Resource Kit at Microsoft’s Web site for more information.
