Adeline Software has a great talent for creating beautiful games and this one is no exception. Battle through the ages in your quest to stop a destructive computer virus. On your journey you can expect to face everything from cavemen to hi-tech soldiers of the future.

Anyone remember the old 1970s movie called ‘RollerBall’ starring James Caan? Hyperblade uses a very similar premise in that players fight it out in an arena on rollerblades. The graphics are fast, detailed and the action non-stop.

SU-27 is a standard setter in flight simulation. Details like an authentic representation of the cockpit and a superb flight model, should keep hardcore flight sim fans in a state of bliss.

Road Rash may be a very shallow and infantile game; but who’s complaining when you can take part in high-speed, no-rules motorcycle racing without worrying about getting hurt. Runs a treat under Windows 95.

While it might lack some of the niceties of real-time games, this is a defining classic in the realm of true military simulations. The swift flow of battle based on a solid foundation of accurate unit statistics and battle calculations, makes for a an extremely good historical military simulation. -- Julian Schoffel
