How Does It Work?
The Density parameter sets the number of lumps in a given area. The Lumps that make up this
component are arranged into groups. When Density is set to 0%, the first group of lumps will be visible. As Density increases, the next group of lumps will appear small and begin to grow. Once a group of
lumps has reached maximum size, they will stop growing and another group of lumps will appear and begin to grow. The groups of lumps reach maximum size at specific Density values (approximately 0, 14.2,
28.5, 42.8, 57.1, 71.4, 85.7, and 100).
The Lump_Size parameter controls the size of the lumps. A Lump_Size of 0% will eliminate a lump. A
Lump_Size of 100% is maximum but there will still be gaps between lumps, especially at lower densities.
Hints!
Scale the Lumps out, use the Single_Sample mode, and hook the Lumps to a color image. This gives the
image a painted or stuccoed look. Try using the percent version of the image to change the density or size of the lumps.
Making the lumps small and less dense looks like bubbles. The bubbles can be translated through, and you can get streams of bubbles using percent gradients to control the Lump_Size.
