Shape Objects

shape A Shape Object is a Simple Object defined by a list of curved or straight edges. It can contain multiple closed or open figures. The figures can have lines around their edges and can be filled with solid colors, gradients or images.

You can create Shape Objects using the following drawing tools:

linei Line
pencili Pencil
bezieri Bezier
recti
Rectangle
ellipsei
Ellipse
autoi
AutoShapes.

You can also produce shapes by using gshape Group as Shape or cshape Convert to Shapes, or by importing them from a vector or raster image.

You can use reshapei Reshape and ftransi Fill Transform to modify a shape. You can edit the settings for a Shape Object, including line style and fill style, using the Shape Panel.

Note:
·The Image Object in SWiSH v1.5x is now represented by a rectangular-shaped Object filled with the image in SWiSHmax  
·AutoShapes have an additional set of handles for editing. These additional handles allow you to modify properties specific to the individual AutoShape (e.g. the number of vertices in a polygon shape). AutoShapes can be converted into Shapes by using cshape Convert to Shapes . Once converted into Shapes, the AutoShape looses its additional editing handles
