One of the most important projects undertaken by this laboratory was
the conservation of a wallpaper entitled "Les Combats des Grecs", measuring 2.5m
in height by 18m in width. This wallpaper, which is exhibited in the new wing of the
Museum, depicts an imposing panorama of the scenes from the Greek War of Independence. It
was designed by Jean Deltil and printed in the Zuber & Son workshop in 1829.
