ADSI is the Microsoft® strategic set of directory access interfaces. ADSI abstracts the capabilities of different directory services from different network vendors and presents a single set of directory service interfaces for managing resources. For more information, please read the ADSI White Paper.

What's New in ADSI 2.5

Make sure you check ADSI's new exciting feature - ADSI extension. Or perhaps you would like to learn more about distributed query, or data link integration. Ready for Active Directory™? ADSI 2.5 already supports it!  Also, enjoy many more new samples including the application gallery, a new help file and resource tool kits. A list of new interfaces can be found here.

ADSI can communicate with many other directories, such as Internet directories, Exchange, Site Server, NDS, Netware, and Netscape.

Please read the release notes for more information.
