KDE/2
What is KDE/2
KDE/2 is a port of KDE most known from the Unix world. KDE is a desktop for XFree86 like GNOME. KDE is base on the QT libaries which make it look nice, but not as flexible like the GTK.
What is the profit of KDE/2
More OS/2 apps. There are nearly all KDE apps out there you can think of. Take a look at the Links for more.
So what's the status of KDE/2
Alex A. Galkin started with porting the libs and than some apps, but he is to busy to continue.
KDE/2 has got a new porter.
Byron Miller will continue the porting of KDE/2 and KDE2/2.
