Photos wanted on cheques and credit cards

Information from an item in The Wall Street Journal (Sept 1st '94), monitored for the Institute by Roger Knights.

As a way of cutting fraud, banks are introducing photos on cheques and credit cards. Card-holders 'love the photos as a vanity measure', says Nancy Ness Judy of the American Bankers Association. But cheque printer Deluxe Corp, says that customers may resist putting their photos next to their addresses.
