Sustainable Society study group

From a letter to the Institute.

A Sustainable Society study group and workshop has been formed for discussion and study of the changes required in the style of society to achieve eventually a 'sustainable fair society'.. Started by Ian Bingham-Hall and colleagues in Southampton, meetings will be held occasioanlly, a brainstorming style will be used to float ideas; but it will not be essential to attend meetins as papers will be produced. When consensus is achieved on any practical idea it will be expressed in simple understandable terms for publication and ready assimilation by the public.

Sustainable Society study group, c/o Ian Bingham-Hall, Oakwood, 73 Glen Eyre Road, Bassett, Southampton SO2 3NN (tel 0703 769 099). 'Or form your own local groups,' says Bingham-Hall.
