Yes, now as you mention it, I can remember a PowerUp program where
AHI sound goes mute too, but it's even when using original ppc.li-
brary.

I downloaded AMP 1.30 yesterday to verify your assumption. Ini-
tialized ppclibemu (0.7a) first and then watched MPEG videos with
sound.

It works! I had no problems. It must be something with your sys-
tem (environment variables?).

AMP doesn't even use AHI, BTW, it uses audio.devices.
