I'm not able to check to see if my would show up on a FFS partition,
but when I copied the files from the CDROM (using AsimCDFS) to my PFS3
partition (which was set to the default filename length (32), with
Workbench set to 100) using a workbench drag and drop of the drawer
(as the photogenics install information instructs), one of the files
("PaintModeSelectorPlugin.Ng") was copied. The file name was
preserved, but the protection bits went from "rwed" on the CD to "d".

Did you check the target locations? (If your answer is yes, please
ignore my above paragraph. Not trying to start a flame war here...)
