How to define routers

To create reports on router utilization, one or more routers must be defined in your chosen business group.

Prerequisite(s):

Your address book must also be current. See “How to update the address book” for details.

To define a router:

1.	Choose Organization Group > Business Groups tab.

2.	Double-click a business group that has a data source. The Edit Business Group window appears.

3.	In the Selected Data Sources area, expand the tree and select a monitoring instance.

4.	Click the Instance Filters and Routers button. The Instance Filters and Routers dialog appears.

5.	Define Routers is selected by default. Click OK. The Router Settings window appears.

6.	Type the total speed of the probe instance (bits/sec), and then click New.

7.	Select a router address, and type the speed (bits/sec).
