Oobeinfo.ini enables you to customize the Windows Welcome experience for your customers. Create the file by using Setup Manager. You can modify this file later by using Setup Manager or any text editor.
You can also use Sysprep in Factory mode to customize the contents of this file, as controlled by the settings in the [UpdateSystem] section in Winbom.ini.
The following sections appear in Oobeinfo.ini:

| [DesktopReminders] | Enables you to place reminders for registration and the Internet service provider (ISP) sign-up offer on the desktop. |
| [DUN] | Enables you to configure the settings for dial-up networking that are used when collecting user registration information. |
| [OEMHardwareTutorial] | Enables you to include a custom hardware tutorial in Windows Welcome. |
| [OEMRegistrationPage] | Enables you to configure options for user registration. |
| [Options] | Enables you to configure other options. |
| [Signup] | Enables you to configure Internet sign-up options. |
| [StartupOptions] | Enables you to configure the appearance and operation of Msoobe.exe. |
| [UserInfo] | Enables you to personalize the text on the Welcome screen, and prepopulate the user information fields on the registration page. |
| [Version] | Enables you to prepopulate the Product Key. |
