Menus

The Main form has three menus which can be access by pressing the menu button Menu Button. On some older Palm Pilots and Handspring models, the menu button may look different. Please consult your manual in these cases.

Message Menu

The message menu contains commands for messages.

The "Mark as Read" and "Mark as Unread" commands can be used to change the status of an email from read to unread or vice versa.

The "Empty Deleted Folder" menu command will delete all of the email messages in the "Deleted" folder.

Options Menu

The options menu contains all of the configuration settings.

The "Preferences..." command will bring up the preferences dialog, that will allow you to configure general settings in Mail+.

The "Display Options..." command will bring up the display options dialog, that will allow you to configure how the main form displays emails. (see fig 3) The "Show Status Icon" check box will toggle the status icon column in the main display to be visible or hidden. The "Show Date" check box will do the same for the date column. The "Sort By:" drop down list will let you select how the emails in the folder are sorted.

It also has the "Beam Mail+" command, which will beam a demo version of Mail+ to another Palm Pilot. This is useful if you would like to beam an email to another Palm Pilot that does not have Mail+.

Help Menu

The help menu contains information about Mail+. The "About..." command will display credit information, as well as a link to our website. The "Help..." command will point you to this document, and the "Register..." command will give you information about registering Mail+.

The "Feedback..." command will bring up a special email that will send us feedback about Mail+. You can use it to send us feedback and suggestions on what you do or do not like about Mail+.
