Satoshi, Kasumi and Takeshi having a bad day. Most Popular Pokemon

To become the best Pokemon trainer in the world, Satoshi (Ash) has to find all 150 Pokemon and train them. Here are just a few of the popular ones.

Pika!!!!!Pikachu

Pikachu is the first Pokemon that joins Satoshi on his quest to be the best Pokemon trainer in the world. He's a rather unenthusiastic ally at first, not trusting Satoshi and being very cold with him, but they eventually become good friends. Pikachu talks in his own language, communicating with words like, "Pika!", "Pikachu!", and "Pi, pika!".

Pikachu is a Pokemon of the lightning element.

Voice actor: Ohtani Ikue (Melulu in Vision of Escaflowne =^.^=)

Hitokage/CharmanderHitokage (Charmander)

Charmander is a cute lizard-like Pokemon. In the Game Boy games, you have the option for him to be the first Pokemon you start off with, along with Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Charmander evolves to be Charmeleon and later on Charlizard.

Charmander is a Pokemon of the fire element.

Voice actor: Unknown

Purin/JigglypuffPurin (Jigglypuff)

Purin, a pink puff-ball-like creature, is a very sweet Pokemon who just loves to sing; however, her voice has a special power to it that makes whoever listens to it fall asleep, much to her annoyance. In the anime, Satoshi (Ash) and his friends try to help her sing to an audience who won't fall asleep, but in the end, they don't succeed. In the game, Purin can be found in the grasses around the Mt. Moon area.

Purin is a Pokemon of the normal element.

Voice actor: Unknown

Fushigidane/BulbasaurFushigidane (Bulbasaur)

Bulbasaur is a SUPER KAWAII! frog-like Pokemon with a plant bulb growing from his back. In the Game Boy games, he is one of the three Pokemon you can start the game with, along with Charmander and Squirtle. Bulbasaur can evolve into Ivysaur, and later, into Venusaur.

Bulbasaur is a Pokemon of the grass element. One of his favorite special techniques is the Vine Lash attack.

Voice actor: Hayashibara Megumi (AL-RIGHT! My favorite voice actress, too!)

People wrote in saying who their favourite Pokemons were! Here are just a few of the letters I've received. (Some letters have been edited for clarity)

My favorite Pokemon is Sandshrew because he's sooo cute and I like it when he curls into a ball. But I also like another. My other favorite is Mewto (Mewtwo) because he's the only monster that can speak English. (Grinnzl3)

Bulbasaur. You ask why? Because he looks like a frog and is soooooooooo cute plus the funky plant. (YoshiBoshy)

MEWTWO !!! Why? Because Mewtwo looks neat, isn't all THAT popular, was Bio-Engineered, and is just COOL! (FishFan)

There are many more Pokemon out there... actually 151 of them! If you have a favourite Pokemon, write to me and tell me why you like it so much!
