Pokemon Artwork I love seeing good fan art of series I love, and Pokemon is no exception. I like drawing in whatever little free time I have, so I decided to try my hand at creating doodles of my own of the monsters. Keep in mind, though, that when it comes to my artwork, that I'm a musician and a programmer, not a artist, so don't expect the gems that can be found in a lot of the pages out there. ^_^; If you have any Pokemon artwork you'd like to share with the rest of the world, go ahead and send it to me with a brief description, and I'll add it to this collection! Weedle, by Kathy Vaughan Notes: This one's in black and white, and was drawn on graph paper during one of the weekly role-playing sessions I sometimes go to. I didn't bother removing the lines out of the paper or colourizing it, but if I have any time, I'll work on it. Charlizard, by Kyle Pittman Notes: Kyle hand-drew this picture of Charlizard, then coloured it in and touched it up in Paint Shop Pro. A work of art, thanks Kyle! "What if..." #1, by Kathy Vaughan Notes: What would happen if Pikachu and Raichu would play against each other in Pocket Monsters Stadium? I think enough has been said, and the rest needs to be seen... "I will be a Pokémon Master!", by Kyle Pittman Notes: Kyle's done another fine piece of artwork, this time depicting the time Ash swears to be the best while holding his Voltorb alarm clock! Ash, by David Pittman Notes: Everyone loves our enthusiastic hero from Pokemon and David's picture of Ash proves it! Great job! Ash (again), by Ben Dejesus Notes: Ben might have drawn this picture of our hyperactive hero in blue pen, but it's still great! Pikachu, by Matak Notes: Pikachu! Now who doesn't love that charming electric mouse? Matak obviously likes him, since he drew this great picture of him! Pikachu fighting Nyase/Meowth, by Rene Vara Notes: A fight between cat and mouse? I wonder if we'll ever see this is an episode? ^_^ Pikachu, by Jesse Goldman Notes: Pika-pika! Here's another picture of our favourite electric mouse by Jesse Goldman! Good job! Ash, Misty and Brock, by Jesse "Sketcher" Goldman Notes: To quote Sketcher, "Here's a nifty little pic I just finished! It has Ash and Pikachu in a big Pokeball. Misty mops up the water from her Staryu as her Staryu kicks Brock's Geodude's butt!" Growlithe (Gardie) (Artist's name not provided) Notes: Gardie has a pretty big fan club in Japan, and this artist's representation of him is just great! Bulbasaur, by Warlobster Notes: Bulbasaur! Now who doesn't like him, hmm? Warlobster drew him in MSPaint. Good job! James (Kojiro), by Kathy McGee Notes: Awright, I'm not the only one who likes the Rocket Gang! Kathy did a great job with this drawing of James, although he looks a bit evil in it... oh well, he must've gotten up on the wrong side of the bed that morning. Keep up the good work! Pikachu, by Kathy Vaughan Notes: While I was falling asleep in programming class one day, I discovered another way to draw Pikachu. I had trouble before with the other style and I find this one looks a little better than before. This drawing was done in watercolour pencils (hence the reason why it's a bit choppy). Raichu, by Kathy Vaughan Notes: Drawn in almost the same style as Pikachu, this Raichu was drawn in a "cute" style (as opposed to what she looks like in episode 14). I didn't have too many colours to work with here and I'm still kicking myself in the rear for using black for the outline in her arms, but otherwise, she looks very cute. Again, this was drawn with watercolour pencils. Fight between Bulbasaur and Weedle, by Kyle Darnell Notes: More Pokemon battles! Kyle drew this picture of Bulbasaur fighting Weedle. Wonder who wins? (Sorry, this pic was supposed to be up weeks ago but it got lost in the shuffle!) Note: While there's a lot of great Pokemon artwork out there, I only accept submissions of original fan artwork, like those found on the Artwork page. Make sure they're in standard forms, such as BMP, JPEG or GIF, no more than 1 MB in size, so I'll be able to view them once I get them. Also, I reserve the right to rename the files and/or make them smaller so they can be viewed better. Thanks! All artwork on this page is copyright to the original artists. |
