Get the SDK
(Answer) (Category) Amiga Inc. Faq-O-Matic : (Category) Amiga Devices/FileSystems FAQ :
Where in Linux is the Amiga File System?
Hey, I'm an Amiga Guy, not a Linux guru. while the SDK manual gives some good information on its various parts (Java, C, etc.), its pretty deficient in describing how everything fits together. in particular, it is silent as to how the SDK installation "fits" onto the Linux it is installed upon. The manual seems to refer to using Linux stools to access files in the Amiga system, such as using my "favorite browser to view "contents.html", a file in the amiga filesystem." I assume this refers to a browser (Netscape?) running under Linux. IN trying to find a way to load this Amiga file into Netscape, I have been unsuccessful at "seeing any part of the Amiga file system from Linux. Using the Linux file manager has proven equally unsuccessful.
Where in the Linux file tree does the amiga application/filesystem/whatever appear?
Starting frrom zero Linux knowedge and getting the SDK and my first-ever Ethernet card to run under Redhat 6.2 has been an education, but some additional information would be helpful.
