(Answer) (Category) Amiga Inc. Faq-O-Matic : (Category) Amiga Devices/FileSystems FAQ :
How can I access My Linux partitions, and Floppy drive from Intent?
If your floppy (for example) is mounted at /mnt/floppy, make sure you are root and issue "ln -sd /mnt/floppy /root/floppy" (assuming you're logged in as root) This will create a symbolic link (shortcut) in /root to your floppy mount point. Launch "intent_shell" and you should have a new directory called "floppy" in the Elate fs.

Known issue: To change floppy disks...launch a seperate terminal session (assuming logged in as root) and umount and re-mount the new floppy disk. Your floppy directory in Elate will reflect the change.

As an alternative to the above method, you can also create a symbolic link in linux /usr/lib/elate directory to the directory you want to access and it will be in your intent root.
