I'm curious as to what will happen if and when new "packages" (to use Java terminology) are added to the SDK. Will we be charged to upgrade to SDK2, or will they be made available on the developer site for free download? Same question for new tutorials, new developer tools, and anything else you care to comment on ;)

There is no set plan other than if it is an update, it will be free. If it is an "upgrade", there may be a small fee charged.
Next, everyone will want to know the difference between an "update" and an "upgrade" and I would have to say that our definition is not different from any other developers standard definition of the two.

Will there be any allowances made for the fact that the current SDK is only preliminary and quite incomplete (as admitted by Amiga)?
