- Earthwatch's guide to sustainable development covers relevant issues such as the restoration of Bohemia's forests and greenhouse effects in Trinidad.
- One World Online presents writing, pictures and general information about global themes - from sustainable growth to human rights. Its magazine format creates a varied and wonderfully readable site.
- Eco Travels in Latin America archives the El Planeta Platica environmental newsletter and keeps track of ecotourist issues on the boil.
- OceaNEnvironment has lots of aquatic info, including tips on environmentally-conscious diving, as well as some very pretty pictures.
- Conservation International's Ecotravel Center is a nifty handbook to all matters ecotouristic, including tips on choosing a tour operator and a bulletin board for ecotrips in your area.
- The Voluntary Human Extinction Movement takes population control to its logical conclusion.
ANIMAL RIGHTS
- The Animal Rights Resource Site has a number of online resources, including newsgroups and a chat room. There's also an excellent links page.
- The World Conservation Monitoring Centre has an online search list of the world's animals currently under threat.
- PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has a really useful list of companies that DON'T and those that DO carry out animal testing.
- Vegetarian Pages guides non-meat eaters to vegetarian and vegan-related sites and information.
