Import images into the application from your camera, data CDs, memory cards and other removable storage devices.
Note: If your camera is not a USB camera and you installed it from the installation CD then the images will download automatically

1. Connect your camera to your computer. Turn your camera on.
2. Alternatively, connect memory card, removable storage device or insert data CD.
3. Select “Get images” from the “Home” window, Select “Get Photos” or “Get Videos” (depending on the mode you’re in) from the “Manage” window. The “Get images from device” window opens.
4. You can select to download photos, videos or both when the option is available.
5. Select your camera  from the device window. Alternatively, select any other removable storage device that appears in the device window.
6. Select a location on the computer where to place the new photo and video files.
7. Add the new photo and video files to albums if desired.
8. Select to remove the media files from the selected removable storage device after the import.
9. Click “Get images” to transfer the photos and videos to your computer.
10. A media download progress bar appears on the bottom left side of the window showing the number of media files downloading to your computer. A message appears when the download is complete.
    The photo and video files that you selected are now downloaded to your computer to the selected folder and albums ready for use.
