A large number of applications are supplied with Linux-Mandrake. They range from the Apache Web server to the simple text editor vi, passing through the Internet browser Netscape Communicator or... Gimp, the well-known image retouching software. We cannot review all of the available programs here. The complete list is supplied in the annexe along with a short description. Here is how to use some of the more important Mandrake programs.
