  7.                 Sedt is  a  text  editor  for  the IBM PC and compatibles
  8.         running DOS  or OS/2, DEC Rainbow, ATARI ST, VAX/VMS, VAX/ULTRIX,
  9.         and SCO XENIX. 
  10.         
  11.                 Sedt  is  a  shareware  program and may only be  used  by
  12.         properly  licensed  users.    See  the  file  LICENSE.TXT for the
  13.         license agreement.  The license fee includes ONE of the following
  14.         packages.  Further  updates  and additional packages will only be
  15.         made upon payment of the proper distribution fee.

  17.         Distribution can be made in the following formats:

  19.         A:      1.2  MB  IBM formatted floppy disk with Sedt for  MS-DOS,
  20.                 Microsoft  Windows,  OS/2   protected  mode  and  on-line
  21.                 documentation.

  23.         B:      1.2 MB  IBM  formatted  floppy disk with Sedt for VMS and
  24.                 on-line documentation.
  25.         
  26.         C:      1.2 MB IBM  formatted  floppy  disk  with  Sedt  for  VAX
  27.                 ULTRIX, MIPS ULTRIX and online documentation.
  28.         
  29.         D:      Two 360KB floppy disks  with  Sedt for MS-DOS and on-line
  30.                 documentation.
  31.         
  32.         E:      One 3 1/2" diskette with Sedt for ATARI  ST (TOS and GEM)
  33.                 and on-line documentation.
  34.         
  35.         F:      1.2 MB IBM formatted diskette with Sedt for SCO XENIX and
  36.                 on-line documentation.

  38.                 The distribution charge is $15 U.S.   plus  $10 U.S.  for
  39.         each of  package  (A, B, C, D, E or F) ordered.  One package will
  40.         be $25, two $35, three $45, four $55, and five $65.
  41.         
  42.                 Site licenses.   For  a  given number of employees, using
  43.         any systems at the site,  does not cover non site relevant use of
  44.         Sedt by employees.  Site license  includes  free  distribution of
  45.         one kit.  Site licenses only apply to one  geographical site of a
  46.         company or non-profit institution.  Fee is dependent on number of
  47.         employees using Sedt:

  58.                 Educational  licenses.    There  is  no license  fee  for
  59.         instructional, class-room use.  Site license fees apply  to other
  60.         use by educational institutions.

  62.                 For  orders  placed outside the U.S.  I apprciate payment
  63.         in U.S.   funds payable by a U.S.  bank.  Checks not payable to a
  64.         U.S. bank involve hefty charges.
  65.         
  66.                 I continuously  fix  problems  that I am aware of and add
  67.         new features.   At any time an order comes in, I ship the current
  68.         the version I am  working on.  If, for some reason, you find that
  69.         the software I shipped you  has  a  serious problem, I'll be more
  70.         than happy to fix the problem,  if I haven't done so already, and
  71.         ship you  a  replacement.    Also, if you intend to put Sedt on a
  72.         bulletin board, please do so only after testing it thoroughly, or
  73.         get in contact with me.

  75.                 Sedt is what it  is  because  of  a  continuing,  intense
  76.         dialog with the user base.    If  you  have  any  suggestions for
