[213] Return To Normal (p.218)
The Return To Normal command cancels any highlighting or hiding
of objects in a drawing.
[214] The Design Menu (p.255)
The Design menu contains the following commands:
Drawing, Form, Report, Labels, Fields, Rename Form, Set Format,
and Set Formula.
[215] Drawing (p.158)
The Drawing command lets you design a drawing. Choosing this
command causes the menu bar to display a new set of menus that
provide drawing tools.
[216] Form (p.123)
The Form command lets you design a form for adding or viewing
information. Choosing the Form command displays a screen that
looks like the current form. You select fields you want in the
form and arrange them on the screen.

The Report command lets you design a report format for printing
reports. You determine how you want the report to look and what
information to include.

The Labels command lets you design mailing labels. You determine
what information to print on each label line.

graphics are displayed. This command also changes the way
information is displayed in a report.

The Set Formula command lets you create a formula for calculated
number fields or change an existing formula.

The Print Menu contains the following commands:
Drawing, Form, Report, Labels, Fields.
[224] Drawing (p.225)
The Drawing command prints a drawing. The Drawing command
automatically runs the Windows Spooler, and the Spooler icon
appears on the screen. While sending the drawing to the printer,
a message appears to let you cancel printing. To cancel
printing after OPUS I has sent the drawing to the printer,
use the commands for the Spooler program.
[225] Form (p.225)
The Form command prints information for the current record in
the current form. If the "New" record is the current record,
the Form command prints a blank form.
[226] Report (p.226)
The Report command prints a report. You select the report format
you want from the listbox. If you are designing a report,
OPUS I prints the report you are working on. The Report command
prints only selected records in the report. If some records are
not selected and you want the report to include all records,
choose the Show All Records command before printing the report.
[227] Labels (p.228)
The Labels command prints mailing labels from the information
in a drawing file. Before you print labels, you need to design
the labels with the Labels command on the Design menu.
[228] Fields (p.225)
The Fields command prints a list of all the fields in a drawing
file. The list includes the field name and type of information
stored in the field.
[229] The Recalc Command (p.139)
The Recalc command on the menu bar redraws the screen. Use the
Recalc command to recalculate the contents of calculated number
fields.
[229a] The LastView Command (p.114)
The LastView command returns to the previous view.
[230] The Drawing Menu (p.258)
The Drawing Menu contains the following commands:
New, Save, Print, Assign Objects, Page Size, Alignment, Grid,
Rulers, Colors, and Exit.

The New command removes all objects from a drawing. Since the
command is not undoable, a message box appears to confirm your
decision to erase the drawing.
[232] Save
The Save command saves the drawing file on the current disk in
the current directory. If the drawing file is untitled, OPUS I
asks you to name the drawing file. You can save a drawing file
to a different disk or directory by preceding the name with a
disk drive or directory name. For example, A:\OPUS\FILENAME.
[233] PrintèThe Print command prints the drawing.
[234] Assign Objects (p.194)
The Assign Objects command assigns objects to records in the
drawing file. Choosing the Assign Objects command opens the
assign window so you can assign more than one object at a time.
While the assign window is open, you can also unassign or
reassign objects.
[235] Page Size (p.160)
The Page Size command changes the orientation and measurements
of the drawing area. The Page Size dialog box lets you select
rulers that display inches or centimeters. You can also choose
between portrait and landscape modes.
[236] Alignment (p.163)
The Alignment command switches alignment help on or off. A check
next to the Alignment command indicates alignment help is on.
[237] Grid (p.164)
The Grid command switches the grid on or off. The grid consists
of rows and columns of dots in the drawing area to help you draw
accurately. A check next to the Grid command indicates the grid
is on.
[238] Rulers (p.164)
The Rulers command switches rulers on or off. OPUS I displays
rulers along the top and left edges of the drawing area. The
Page Size command determines whether rulers measure in inches
or centimeters. A check next to the Rulers command indicates
rulers are on.
[239] Colors (p.163)
The colors on the Drawing menu let you choose a background
color for your drawing. OPUS I stores the background color
with your drawing file when you save.
[240] Exit (p.159)
Choose the Exit command when you are finished designing your
drawing. The Exit command changes the menu bar so the drawing
tool commands are not visible.
[241] The Tool Menu (p.260)
The Tool menu contains the following commands:
Object Selector, Straight, Jointed, Curved, Freehand, Ellipse,
Polygon, Rectangle, Rounded Rect, Region, Text, and Symbol.
[242] Object Selector (p.180)
The object selector lets you select objects in a drawing. Use
the object selector to move or change the size, color, pattern
or line style of an object.

The drawing tools let you add objects to a drawing. Use them
to draw the shapes you want. For example, the line tool draws
a line. The text tool adds text. The symbol tool adds a symbol
you select from the Symbol menu.
[244] The Line Menu (p.261)
The commands in the left-hand column of the Line menu let you
choose the style of lines and borders in your drawing. Use these
commands before you draw new lines or to change lines for
existing objects.
The color commands in the right-hand column of the Line menu
let you select the color of lines and borders in your drawing. èUse these commands before you draw new lines or to change lines
for existing objects.

These commands let you choose a pattern for the interior of
objects in a drawing. Use these commands before you draw or to
change interiors of existing objects.
The color commands in the right-hand column of the Fill menu
let you select the interior color of objects in your drawing.

existing objects.
[246] The Font Menu (p.262)
The Font menu lets you choose a Font for text in your drawing.
The available fonts are determined by the default printer when
you create the drawing file. You can choose a font before you
add text or to change existing text.
[247] The FonSize Menu (p.263)
The FonSize menu lets you choose the size of text in your
drawing. The available sizes are determined by the currently
selected font on the Font menu. You can choose a font size
before you add text or to change existing text.
[248] The FonStyle Menu (p.263)
These commands let you choose the way you want text to look
in you drawing. The current style attributes are marked with a
check. Choose the Plain command to remove any style attributes.
The color commands in the right-hand column of the FonStyle menu
let you select the color of text in your drawing. Use these
commands before you add text or to change existing text.
[249] Transparent (p.167)
The Transparent command displays text without a background color.
A check appears next to this command if it is selected. Use this
command before you add text or to change existing text.
[250] Opaque (p.167)
The Opaque command displays text with the background color of
the drawing. A check appears next to this command if it is
selected. Use this command before you add text or to change
existing text.
[251] The Symbol Menu (p.264)
The Symbol menu contains the names of symbols you can add to
your drawing. It also contians the Replace and Rename commands
for symbols.
[252] Replace (p.191)
The Replace command replaces the current symbol with graphics
from the Clipboard.
[253] Rename (p.192)
The Rename command lets you give the current symbol a new name.
You are presented with a dialog box that lets you type a new
name. The new name appears on the Symbol menu.
[254] Symbol Names (p.179)
Use the Symbol names to select the current symbol. Choosing
a symbol automatically selects the symbol tool so you don't
have to select it from the Tool menu. The symbol tool draws
the current symbol. The current symbol is indicated by a check
next to the name of the symbol.
