  117.     F-FCHK now does a much better job of detecting minor variants of
  118.     viruses, in particular those cases where the differences are
  119.     insignificant and do not matter with regard to disinfection. As
  120.     an example, it will now identify the minor Jerusalem-variants
  121.     (Payday, Mendoza, A-204, Puerto, Sunday, Anarkia, Westwood, B, C, G
  122.     GrLkDos etc.) correctly, instead of just labeling them "Jerusalem".

  124.     The /LIST switch added to F-FCHK, to produce a report with a list
  125.     of files scanned, and results.
  126.  
  127.     The /MULTI switch added to F-FCHK and F-DISING to scan multiple
  128.     diskettes.

  130.     The switches may be combined with other switches - for example
  131.     you can use 
  132.  
  133.         F-DISINF A: /MULTI /AUTO
  134.  
  135.     if you have a large pile of infected diskettes or 
  136.  
  137.         F-FCHK C: /AUTO /LIST > report.lis
  138.  
  139.     to scan and disinfect the entire hard disk and produce a report.

  141.     The following bugs/problems have been fixed:

  143.         The identification string for "Zero Bug" has been changed
  144.         as it produced a false positive in LB.COM from Lahey and
  145.         several other programs.
  146.  
  147.         F-FCHK now reports the correct number of files disinfected,
  148.         when files are infected with multiple viruses.
  149.  
  150.         Occasional (but very rare) crashes of F-XLOCK and F-FCHK
  151.         if F-LOCK was not installed.
  152.  
  153.         Problems when removing "Stoned" from a hard disk formatted
  154.         under some DOS versions earlier than 3.0
  155.  
  156.         Occasional incorrect removal of Alabama.    
  157.  
  158.     F-DRIVER has just been reported not to work on some machines with
  159.     PC-NFS installed.  I am examining the problem, and will have it
  160.     fixed in the next release.
