Pegout requires at least 128K of free RAM, and supports:
CGA/MCGA adapter with a color monitor.
EGA/VGA adapter and a color monitor that can support 640 x 350 16 color
graphics.
Pegout is a solitaire board game played with pegs. Instructions are
included within the game. I'll describe just the Standard Pegout layout here,
see the menu in Pegout for variations.
The Standard peg layout at the beginning of the game:
! ! !
! ! ! ! !
! ! ! ! ! ! !
! ! ! . ! ! !
! ! ! ! ! ! !
! ! ! ! !
! ! !
! is a peg . is a hole
The object is to remove all but one peg. The remaining peg must end up
in the center hole, or another hole predetermined by you.
The peg layout at the end of Standard Pegout:
. . .
. . . . .
. . . . . . .
. . . ! . . .
. . . . . . .
. . . . .
. . .
This is accomplished through a series of "checker-like" jumps. You may
only jump horizontally or vertically. Diagonal and double jumps are not
permitted.
I believe Pegout to be bug free, (I also believe there is swampland on
Mars) in the event you do find a bug (or that swampland) I can be reached at:

This version of PEGOUT has the following additions:
BUG fixed - Exiting from Built in boards with no changes now keeps your
previous end game pattern/peg position. (Sorry about that!)
If you load a saved game from the opening screen, through menu,
the move window will now activate and show your previous moves.
ADDITIONS - Sound has been added, thanks to Turbo C 2.0
There is now a feature so you can Backup a move(s). Pressing B
will undo your last move...all the way back to your first move,
with continuous key presses.
