  7.    *  DO NOT run LineDrive from the original distribution diskette.    *
  8.    *  Make copies of the disk before you run the program!              *
  9.    *                                                                   *
  10.    *  We have had several users try the program from the distribution  *
  11.    *  diskette and then re-boot when they found out there was not      *
  12.    *  enough room for their teams. If you do this you will corrupt     *
  13.    *  the distribution files.                                          *
  14.    *                                                                   *
  15.    *  A corrupted file will cause the error message:                   *
  16.    *  ILLEGAL FUNCTION CALL IN MODULE LNDRV2 ADDRESS 1AF5:B022         *
  17.    *  If you already have this problem copying the distribution disk   *
  18.    *  onto your work disk will solve the problem. Team data will not   *
  19.    *  be affected.                                                     *
  20.    *                                                                   *
  21.    *  If you are running LineDrive from a low density 5.25 inch floppy *
  22.    *  you will only have room for 3 teams unless you remove the file   *
  23.    *  LNDRV.DOC.                                                       *

  26.    To run LineDrive type "LNDRV" and press <ENTER>

  28.    Before running LineDrive for the first time, make sure that you are
  29.    familiar with the contents of this file.

  31.    LineDrive Fantasy Baseball (hereafter referred to as LineDrive) is
  32.    copyrighted software - it is not now and never has been in the
  33.    public domain.

  35.    Every release of LineDrive comes in two versions, the ShareWare or
  36.    Evaluation Version and the Registered Version.
  37.  
  38.    The ShareWare Version of LineDrive is intended for evaluation purposes.
  39.    The ShareWare Version is fully enabled so that all areas of the program
  40.    may be tested, but, only three player trades or free agent signings can
  41.    be made.

  43.    Before running LineDrive make sure that the following files are in the
  44.    drive/directory that you will start the program from:
  45.              LnDrv.exe   (LineDrive the program)
  46.              LnDrv.hlp   (the help file)
  47.              LnDrv.doc   (the manual)
  48.              Brun45.exe  (the run time module)
  49.              Title.scn   (the title screen)

  51.    The ShareWare Version of LineDrive may be copied and distributed to
  52.    others subject to the following conditions:
  53.       No charge may be made for LineDrive itself. Any fees collected for
  54.       the sale of diskettes containing LineDrive must be clearly stated as
  55.       being for materials and/or handling charges. The cost of the disk
  56.       containing LineDrive may not exceed $15.00.

  58.       All files included on the original distribution disk must be included
  59.       when the program is distributed or "uploaded" to a "bulletin board".

  69.       individuals or companies form distributing LineDrive. If we chose to
  70.       excercise this right the individuals or companies will be notified by
  71.       certified letter.

  74.    The Registered Version of LineDrive is subject to the same legal
  75.    restrictions as traditionally distributed or"commercial" software.

  77.    The owner of the Registered Version of LineDrive may install LineDrive
  78.    only on those computers owned by him. You may make copies for archive
  79.    purposes only.

  83.    Before installing this or ANY new software, you should back up any
  84.    valuable data on your computer system. LineDrive has been thoroughly
  85.    tested on different systems and is believed to be reliable and
  86.    non-harmful. However, no one can ever be totally sure of the effect
  87.    a program will have on every computer. You as the user are completely
  88.    responsible for determining the fitness or usability of LineDrive
  89.    Fantasy Baseball. Maranatha Custom Software will not be liable for
  90.    damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost sales or profits
  91.    arising from any failure of this package to perform as expected.
